Just installed a new theme. Maybe I can finally be happy with this one for a significant period of time. I tell you what, I’m theme-fickle.

There are a few kinks to work out. But, hey, this site is doin thangs.

And there we go: fixed.

Who knows what’s going on with this funky color catastrophe? The recent update must have wonked everything up. I think I’ll fix it and, I don’t know, write something here.

You think you know a little something about basic web development, and so you think you’re going to do your site in WordPress, right?

Well . . .

Turns out WordPress is a little cooler than I realized. I can use someone else’s work (i.e., a really pretty theme, like the current one) for the main bloggity stuff, and then, if and when I desire, I can have the individual pages look totally different.

[sigh of relief]

I feel like that time in high school when you were freaking out about the math test, and then it was all okay all of a sudden because the teacher looked at you with big, filmy, compassionate eyes and said, “Oh, and you can use a calculator.”

A CALCULATOR.

That’s what this is.

Now that I’ve got the shell of the site up, I’m going to start (re)posting some content.

First up is Black.

Then, I’ll try to throw in some info on Rook.

After that, who knows?

And I’m going to be writing actual blog posts here too, not just site progress announcements. But, for the moment, I’m contenting myself with getting something even as meager as this on the interwebs.
